About Our Business
Welcome to Nature Coast Scuba. We are a small
personalized NAUI member scuba diving outfit that
specializes in diving instruction from the beginner scuba
diver to Dive Master.  We offer a wide array of diving
specialties that can meet any sport divers need.

We have been in the diving education business for 7 years
now and pride ourselves in quality education, safety, and
personal attention.  Whether you are a seasoned diver
looking to log a few dives or maybe upgrade your training.
Or perhaps a new comer to the sport wanting to take the
splash.  We can train you to the next level.

The Captain:
We have a full time Master USCG Captain that takes care
of the boat which lets the Dive Master, or Scuba Instructor
take care of you.

NAUI Dive Instructor:
My name is David Woods I have been a NAUI scuba
instructor for 7 years now.  A little bit of background on
myself.  I am ex-military, (USAF),and I have been a U.S.
Federal Air Marshal, but non of that ever fit me. When I was
growing up in Florida and my parents went looking for me,
they always checked the water first, I absolutely loved the
water, and still do! I received my NAUI instructor
certification through Hall's Diving Institute in Marathon,FL.  I
can teach over 15 different diving specialties. Everything
from beginner (open water) to Dive Master.  I have been a
scuba instructor throughout the Carribean, teaching from the
Bahamas to the Turks and Caicos in the British West Indies.
I have even spent a year in Club Med as a dive instructor so
I have learned to be very flexible and tailor my classes to
the individual diver needs.

To earn the coveted NAUI Instructor rating our Instructors have undergone a
grueling leadership training program requiring extensive diving knowledge
and superior water skills. At every step they are challenged to make
independent and correct decisions and value judgments regarding the level
of risk inherent in all types of diving situations.

Those who successfully complete this exceptional program become NAUI
Instructors and are granted the freedom to adapt their teaching to meet the
individual and regional needs of their students... individuals like you.
