Scuba diving is an adventure sport, and as such, it has inherent risks. NAUI members understand this. We also understand that the only way to minimize risk is to maximize education. There are many scuba certification programs available today, but there is only one that can be called a scuba education program. And, education is the true NAUI difference. Required equipment: All students will be required to have (own) the following equipment before attending classes.
Wetsuits are not required by the student to own, they can be rented. But, we recommend all students purchase their own wetsuit. All other equipment can be rented, or purchased. All students receive 10% off all equipment sales if they are enrolled with any scuba course with us. Pricing: Basic open water classes are broken down into 2 parts. Part 1: is your books and at home study time. Your books will cost $62.95 and include, NAUI text book, work book, dive log, and dive tables. For people that want the DVD enhanced study guide kit that includes all the above mentioned products, PLUS, dive log cover, 2 disk DVD, NAUI dive decals, and audio cd's to take with you on the road!! Part 2: Will include your classroom time with your instructor, oral review of test materials, pool sessions, and 5 open water dives in the ocean. Prices will vary depending on dive locations and fuel cost. Current price is $298.95. Call us anytime for up to date pricing. Enriched Air Course (Nitrox): Become a nitrox certified diver in as little as 5 hours. We offer Nitrox classes right now on Tuesday, almost every week. But we can arrange another day of the week if needed, just give us a call. Price: $129.00 that includes all text books test materials, dive tables and instructor time.
